A modern bohemian elopement at Oeschinen Lake

When we started our company, one of our goals was to portray diverse couples and the beautiful landscape of the country we call home now. Oeschinen Lake was one of those places!

Lake Oeschinen, which lies above Kandersteg, is a pristine mountain lake, fed by the glacial brooks of the three-thousand-meter peaks of Blüemlisalp, Oeschinenhorn, Fründenhorn and Doldenhorn. It is as well a breathtaking World Unesco Heritage site.

I imagined this session as both as an elopement and a vow renewal. With the loveliest of couples Daniel and Isabella, a dream team of creatives, and the most wonderful weather, this truly was a perfect day!

Starting with a slow morning before the intimate ceremony, sharing a freshly brewed cup of coffee, a buttery croissant and the sweetest strawberries, recounting stories of precious moments, taking every moment in as they are about to start this new adventure.

Holding each other gently, playing together, looking through the window, as they get ready, the glorious landscape that will bare witness to their promises. Yes, a crazy adventure is about to begin, the most beautiful of them all and Meltem knew how to capture it perfectly! Every photograph is a gift that bring us back to this day!

The groom waiting for his bride, anticipation building on his eyes and a lush bouquet on his hand! This bouquet, with its variety of garden roses, dried bits and foraged wild astilbe along those flowy silk ribbons (the rust orange dyed by myself!) is still one of my favorites to this date!

The magestic mountains and the deep blue lake stood silently, the only witnesses of their love, listening reverently as they share heartfelt vows, amidst tears and smiles.

Wouldn't you love to elope or have an intimate wedding with the Swiss Mountains as your backdrop and witness? Or perhaps a vow renewal?
